What is St. A’s?

St. A’s is a refuge. If you need a place to study, a cup of coffee or tea, someone to talk to, or just a quiet place to be still, we’re here for you. Nobody is alone, there’s always someone willing to listen, go for a walk with you, or watch a movie with you. Our community is here for you.

Supported by our roots in the Episcopal and Lutheran traditions, we will be an accessible community at the University of Kentucky and Transylvania University for all who seek an open and honest relationship with God through Jesus Christ for personal and communal transformation and renewal.

St. Augustine’s is open to all members of the University Community regardless of race, age, gender, culture, ability, ethnicity, nation of origin, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, religious beliefs and affiliation, military status, socioeconomic status, or any other child of God you can think of. God loves you just the way you are.
