St. Augustine’s has the honor to participate in the celebrations surrounding the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther sparking the Reformation. There are three events in October:
Oct 1 at 2:00 p.m. – there will be a concert at the Cathedral of Christ the King. Fellowship will follow.
Oct 8 at 7:00 p.m. – St. Augustine’s is co-sponsoring lectures with the Newman Foundation on “Conflict” and “Communion” at the William T. Young library. We will meet at the Chapel at 6:15 p.m. and walk over together.
Oct 22 at 7:00 p.m. – there will be a joint prayer service at the Cathedral of Christ the King where the bishops of the Catholic Diocese of Lexington and of the Indiana-Kentucky synod will preside. A reception will follow the service. We will also plan to go to this service together.
Hope you can make it out to any or all of these events.
