Senior Reflection: Paige Barricklow

Starting my freshman year at Transylvania University was such an exciting chance for me to do experience new things while still being in the Lexington community that I had grown up as a part of. I was so excited to get involved in so many new things. Being the excessive extrovert I am, I immediately got involved in as much as I possibly could, including the activities at St. A’s. Despite the fact that I am someone who thrives when I’m constantly busy, running around all of the time can be a little exhausting. The stability and community I found with the students at St. A’s gave me a place to rest from the craziness that had been the rest of my life these past four years. No matter what insanity I was engaging with in my academic and extracurricular life at Transy, I knew a few minutes down the road at the Chapel I had a place where I could set that all aside and just be for a while. I will never be able to articulate just how incredible my time at St A’s has been, but I am so excited for future students to experience the amazing community that has meant so much to me these last four years.
